Ann Ratcliffe, Oct. 1, 4 PM

      Ann Ratcliffe will read her work at the next program in the Poetry on the Loose Reading/Performance Series. The event will be held in the rear room behind the Utopian Direction gallery and bookstore at 7 West Street in Warwick at 4:00 p.m. on October 1.   Following the feature, others are welcome to read original work. Admission is free.

     Rattcliffe is the winner of the Paulinskill Poetry Project’s Chapbook Competition with her manuscript titled Enough, now available as a chapbook. Educated at Chatham and George Washington Universities, she has been a high school English teacher for twenty-six years.   She attributes her deep appreciation of life to her Quaker upbringing.  

     The next Poetry on the Loose reading will be held November 5 and will feature Robert Milby as guest host.
